A pleasant surprise

Being Pagosa residents tiring of the same old places to dine we've driven by The Chivalous Shark numerous times but never stopped to eat there. The husband and wife team running this restaurant do a fantastic job from Cathy waitressing/bar tending and Charley the chef and I'm sure many other roles for both of them. The menu is well laid out and catagorized with excellent descriptions of each dish. Our party of 4 had 2 each order the special of the day which was Penni pasta with fresh basel pesto and the other 2 of us had the catfish platter and shrimp basket. We were all impressed with the excellent service and quality of food not to mention the generous portions. For you snobs out there, please overlook the plastic wine and beer glasses and simply enjoy the food and good vibes we got. Would definitely go back again.
