Great cocktail and wine menu

bad bad bad
by Guest-Irene
Hands down the worst food and service I have ever had in Durango. Maybe it was a bad night for everyone but as a local, I was very disappointed. Rubber band in the crab legs, raw fish, waiting for over 20 minutes for drink refills. And I would love to say that on this night it was really busy, but fact is, it was not. It was an all around bad experience and I will not only not refer anyone there but will never return myself.
Sweeney's- The Next Generation
by Jennifer
You may not know but very recently Sweeney's has been placed under new management and now has a "new and Improved" menu. If Sweeney's has been a long time favorite or if you are looking to rediscover, give the new menu a look. They still have the old favorites, but with new flare and style. Worth the drive!
Durango Classic Steakhouse
by Shaheen
Great service and an "at home" comforting feeling. Food portions are huge so come here prepared for a feast. Flavors and spices are not too wild but very consistant. Not my idea of the "big fancy dinner date" spot but a nice place to go out with the family. I would recommend the triple stacked carrot cake -that easily serves a party of three.

The Best Darn Apres Ski Dining in Durango
by
Steak. MeatLoaf. Or anything else you feel like at the moment. Plus atmosphere. Lots of it. The way five martini lunches used to be. Come here after shopping, skiing, or just skulking around town. Enjoy great service, fun nooks and crannies, and fabulous food with great flair. Everybody gets into the act -- and your fine time is the result of a concerted effort by the entire front house and kitchen team. Prepare to be amazed. Here, it's the complete package, and bonus points for being able to discuss business or fun in relative privacy. Imagine being able to actually hear your dinner companion! Linger and enjoy a wonderful drink from the well-stocked bar. Enjoy finger licking comfort food, or go exotic. There are low lights, engaging music and grown-up ambience. It's just the best darn place to let your hair down after a day of skiing or ski mobiling, and one of my favorite places in all of Durango. Best apres ski place in town. Actually, just best darn place to eat in the four corners area, period.
Fine diningin a rustic atmosphere
by Mail-In
Good food, decent service and a great rustic atmosphere at Sweeneys. Prices are comparable to fine dining.
