Really great food, no one can deny it. But when I have to stand at the entrance without a greeting for up to 5 minutes... nary a smile from servers. Sorry, but I have worked in restaurants half of my working life and even when it's busy you make the time to at least greet people and let them know you are aware they are standing there waiting. There is nothing more uncomfortable, and the impression was the Cyprus was doing me a favor by getting me in.

Thanks to owner/chef Allison, who is ALWAYS on site and CARES, Cypress Cafe consistently serves the most delicious, freshest, best meals in Durango. I have never, EVER been disappointed there even if I order the cheapest thing on the menu. What a place, terrific atmosphere, delicious meals, ambiance, and superb waitstaff.
