Katrina is the voice of nature; her passion and intimate
understanding in God's design and intent has lead her to be a conduit of nutritional wisdom. Turtle Lake Refuge is the embodiment of her life's mission; she daily demonstrates to us all an impressive yet achievable example of living with the Earth.
The Durango Parks Dept. is considering the non use of herbicides and/or pesticides in the public parks of Durango. If this happens, it will be to Katrina's credit.
Her dedication to a better way of living is an inspiration to all of us.
Wow FREE Lunch!

Not only was lunch free, it was delicious, and so healthy. I felt very welcome when I visited. Parking is a pain, so get there early or be prepared to walk. The only thing I would have improved, would be the communication. There wasn't a menu - so I had no idea what I was eating, and I had never been before so I had to ask a lot of questions to figure out how it all worked.
