Yummy!

This is a regular stop for me,
Being that it's one of the only Thai restaurants in Durango, thank goodness it's delicious! Personal favs on the menu... Tom kha gai and the Massaman, both have a coconut milk base. Egg rolls have a thin crisp shell and fresh taste.

Small spot not much seating but always good with big portions.
It's a counter service set up, and sometimes you'll get service with a smile, but clearly the food is their focus. Either way I love Sizzling Siam!
These guys rule!

For being so limited in ethnic restaurants we sure got lucky on the Thai side. Food always rocks and the staff are always cool. I highly recommend the Thom Kha Kai (sp?).
Great food at great prices in a cramped space.

Durango needs a great Thai restaurant and it is fortunate to have one in Sizzling Siam. It actually has a wide array of delicious choices for such a small place. It works great if you're into take out or want a quick meal downtown. Its only downfalls are two, according to my high standards. The first is that all eating ware is disposable which most folks seems to accept these days in America but not being able to stand the flagrant waste our convenience oriented society creates, I usually go out of my way to avoid such eateries. Ethically I hate to admit it, but this one is worth it! I also enjoy a more comfortable sitting atmosphere where diners can enjoy being there a while and get a little cozy. Well, that's just not an option here. The bottom line is that I look forward to their expansion where both my complaints would be remedied.
Great Thai food!

They have great food and a cute, busy atmosphere. Art from Thailand on display even accompanied by a picture book on Thailand to keep you entertained while waiting for your food. The place is owned by a woman from Thailand who does most of the cooking. It is really small and can get a little crowded in there so the best option is to order ahead for takeout.
Authentic Thai Food

Run and owned by a Thai woman this place is authentic and wonderful. The green and red curries are my favorite and quite spicy. She will do "thai spicy" and it is delicious but certainly not for the weak. Be sure to try a Thai tea and her fried spring rolls. It is all very authentic and many of the ingredients even come from Thailand. Prices are reasonable.
