Consistent and Never a Suprise

Most people seem to view Starbucks and the "evil empire" of the coffee world because of their supposed goal to take over all smaller cafes. Whatever your opinion is, you can't fault them for consistency. Each and every store has the same menu, same food and same coffee, which can spare you a sometimes awkward adventure into a local cafe. The Starbucks downtown has friendly employees, wi-fi and great indoor and outdoor seating areas which are good for just hanging out. Ever since they dropped almond flavoring (their most popular), I've lost a bit of my support for the store. That being said, if I want coffee quick and don't want any surprises, Starbucks is still the place to go.
