It's...ok

Out of all the Mexican restaurants Francisco's is my least favorite. It's not bad, but its nor worth it- it is definitely over priced. However, whenever they have special deals- Super bowl sunday, cheap drinks and good wings/nachos- it is worth it.

Worth a new look

If you haven't been to Francisco's in a while you might just give it another look. I dropped in for a few drinks the other night with an old friend. We sampled a few tequilas and I got to try the T-Bone Steak and the Camarones El Diablo. The T-Bone was huge enough to feed three people and the shrimp were delightful. I'm sure that I would like to go back and sample some more menu items. The bar staff was friendly and attentive. They really care about what they are doing. They skilly upsold me to a shot of Don Julio 1942. It was delicious and worth every penny.

Locals love it...visitors love it...cowboys love it..river rats love it. You get the picture.

If you are a true Durangatang, you love Francisco's. Angus beef, freshly cut fish, delicious seafood...oh yeah, and a wide variety of Mexican food from regions all over Mexico. They don't serve Tex-Mex and don't do "Queso", but who needs it with all there is on the menu. Seriously, if you can't find something you like on the menu, you're too picky. And, the margaritas are SOOOOO GOOD. The bartenders are fun and will cook anything you like. One more things, Charlie Daniels & his wife as well as lots of other "famous" locals are regularly seen dining here. Come find me at Francisco's...I'll buy you a margarita and prove it.

Best Mexican

Francisco's hands down has the best mexican food in Durango. We eat here a couple times a month, the beers on tap are great and the "rita's" are to die for! The rice is so yummy!

Francisco's has been a reliable place to eat for decades. The atmosphere is nice, location great and the menue is so varied that everyone can be happy. Great Margaritas too.
