Great summer patio!

Very disappointed. This was the second time my wife and I tried this restaurant in the last 3 years. First time we thought the food quality was poor and the service ok. Second time we were hessitant but went with a group and again food quality poor and this time service was bad. Waitress failed to check table on occasion. Food took a long time to be served. Manager could have at least came by and gave us some type of assurance that food was on the way. Anyway, as locals I am sorry to say that this will be the last time we give our business to this establishment.

Went last night with six people. It took forever to place our orders, then it took ONE HOUR to get our food. In the meantime, no one bothered to give us an update or offer us anything for the wait. When the food finally arrived, some of the dishes had obviously been sitting for a while. Good thing they put the automatic gratuity on the checks, becuse the waitress would not have gotten much of a tip. During the long wait, she just stood off to the side and rolled silverware in napkins. Finally, at the end of it all NO ONE asked how our meal was. Bad service for mediocre food.

On a busy holiday weekend, this place was packed full on a Friday. With that being said, I feel as if my party was seated qucik, and that our service was off the charts- ina good way. I was able to chat with the owner, Jaimee, and though shw was very busy, she seemed to make every quest feel welcome. I travel to Durango a couple times a month, and I always make sure I go to Mutu's.
Delicious tomato bisque

I had dinner with a friend at Mutu's and had a shrimp Cesar salad and tomato bisque. The salad was very good - the shrimp were cooked perfectly, but the tomato bisque was divine! It had a great texture and tasted very fresh and well balanced. This is definitely a meal that I would order again! Plus, we sat in the lounge area & I really enjoyed it. It was fun to people-watch, and it was very comfortable.
