Been coming to East by Southwest for 5 years now and today was by far the best service I've had!!! Very attentive and friendly!!

Here's the deal: we were told when making reservation for 6:30 that we would be able to 'access' "early bird" pricing; but after waiting a good 15 minutes(more?)we were then told "prices switch automatically in computer"=sol.
Place was packed and we then sat for another 15 minutes before getting water(!) or drink order or even a welcome of any kind. It was a Friday night=schedule more staff!
Once food started coming, it came quickly though and water glasses were refilled; and most importantly, food was pretty good, with the exception of the lemon salmon roll= too much lemon/no other flavor.
I have dined @ ESW/GT many times; and never feel like the waitstaff is very happy with their work; they seem almost annoyed to be waiting tables --and with parties of only 5, they get automatic percent!
I will either be there early for "early bird," will never go with more than 4 people again, or I will not go at all!

This place is all class. Sergio came by to ensure our meal was prepared well, (which it was, it always is...). Top shelf food, immaculate decor, and priced perfectly. EXSW would fit perfectly in the most aggressive markets in the country...and we have it in little ole' Durango, and we are thankful to have it!
