No longer do the offer the grill your own...now they have a nice pub menu with good food and great value! Their beers are consistent and consistently good. The Dark Lager just won gold at the GABF! Nice casual atmosphere with locals and out of towners always a nice mix. Order the pastrami burger - mmmmm!!

We at the Lost Dog have been great fans of Durango Brewing Company, so much so that Dgo Wheat has been a permanent draft handle at our bar. Every body loves Dgo Wheat

Don't Overlook Durango Brewing Company

by Jeff

I feel like Durango Brewing Company gets overlooked sometimes with all the great beer in town (DBC included) because they're not downtown, don't have a fancy restaurant and don't often release new beers. Just as much fun can be had and good beer be drank at the DBC Tap Room. For more on DBC's new beer Motivator check out my article A New Beer in Town: Motivator http://www.buzztown.com/article/336/a-new-beer-in-town-motivator.html

Darn OK

by k

Have to agree with the first review, that DBC is not the single best in town or even excellent. We have to say it's OK. The idea of grilling up your own beef is great, but the rude staff/brewers makes it a drag. We only go here when we have people in town and they want to visit all the breweries. We dine out lots and have never been spoken too so rude, but an employee as we were by a brewer DBC. The other downer to this place is the beer gives you the S#%TS, everytime. GO to Carver's and have good!

Good ol' Durango Brewery

by Mail-In

Among all the breweries in town, it would be hard to say that one is the single "best." Though, if it can't claim excellence, Durango Brewering Company can at least claim to be a darn good brewery. Their classic Durango Dark, Amber and Wheat are always a good option. And if you want to get a little more adventurous try one of their many seasonal options, including, but not limited to Durango Blueberry Wheat or a Pilsner. And if you are not satisfied with just grabbing a 6 pack at the liquor store, head over to their tasting room and grill up your own James Ranch burger and listen to some bluegrass jam. Like many other venues in town, pints range from $3-5, but they offer discount pint nights (with the purchase of a glass) for those that hesitate to throw down the standard $4 for a beer.
