traditional southern BBQ

I have lived in Bayfield for several years and have noticed Back Porch BBQ. I kept expecting it to be closed down like so many young restaurants that don't make. Luckily, it didn't and I finally ate there on Saturday night. This place knows how to do barbeque! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Their meats, cornbread and cobblers were awesome, but their sides seemed a bit lacking. Overall, these guys can grill and a great place to go watch the game. Certainly the best BBQ in Bayfield and perhaps beyond.
Stopped for a late lunch was wonderful

We had seen their sign so decided to stop in on the way home. We were greeted at the door, our meal was served fast and hot. The beverages were kept full. The food was excellent. We are happy we stopped.

This is the best food I have ever had. Fast friendly service. I live in durango and don't mind the drive because it puts serious Texas BBQ to shame. This is real BBQ.
Nice dry rub

The dry rub on the ribs is excellent, a little spicy but good. Good home cooking BBQ, with tasty mac and cheese. Cheep beer!
